My work days are so busy, I find that a little planning the night before helps me to eat healthier the next day.

Pack a Lunch
Lean Cuisine and Healthy Choice meals taste good, but they’re usually only about 300 calories. Try to pack at least 300 more calories of stuff you’d like to eat. Some ideas: yogurt, fruit and vegetables that you like.

Eating breakfast isn’t just good for having workday energy—did you know that if you eat a larger amount earlier in the day, your hunger will be less by the time dinner comes? Try it and you’ll see.

What’s in Your Coffee?
Go light on the sugar, and forget that sugar substitute stuff. For the cream, I like to use Half-and-Half because it doesn’t contain any hydrogenated oils. Fully hydrogenated is worse than partially hydrogenated, but it’s best to avoid any such oils. (This goes for peanut butter, too!)

Healthy Snacks
There’s nothing wrong with snacking as long as you’re eating healthy food. If you don’t feel like fresh fruit, try some pretzels--or even popcorn. Believe it or not, that stuff’s not so bad for you! (As long as it’s not dripping with butter.)
