Page 1 of 4 This is our first on an ongoing series of articles known as "Hope Stories". Some of our articles will make you laugh, and some...cry. We the Team at MedicalMile.com desire to bring you into the lives of certain West Michigan people and their families who may have life more difficult than you, our average reader. Our first story is about a little boy, Caleb Burchfield. His "Hope Story" is written by his Aunt Teresa. She just happens to be a Registered Nurse. Dear MedicalMile.com Readers, As you read this Hope Story, I want you to think of someone that may have spoken to your heart without saying a word. Was it someone in a store that smiled at you as they opened a door, a nurse or doctor that gave you a look of re-assurance or a touch of love when you needed hope? Maybe a child that could not say any legible words, but whose looks and mannerisms definitely said more than a thousand words? How many times do we look at a child and say, “I wish I knew what he would say if he could talk!”? I am going to give you a glimpse of a little boy that spoke to us daily, without ever saying a word. His name was Caleb Jaymes Burchfield.
